■講員簡介:

Ulrich Bruder holds a master degree in Aeronautical Science from the University of Stuttgart. He started his professional career as a research engineer in the automotive industry in the area of structural and thermal simulation methods. His technical and sales background includes 20+ years of experience in direct and indirect channel business. Ulrich Bruder started with Mentor Graphics Mechanical Analysis Division in 2011 as Global Distribution Manager.

Dr. Voon Hon Wong is a Senior Application Engineer in the Mechanical Analysis Division of Mentor Graphics, based in Singapore. He has been using CFD tools for thermal and flow analyses in the electronics, energy, building, process industries, etc. for more than a decade and specializes in thermal management. He was previously with Flomerics and Vestas prior to joining Mentor Graphics. He holds a PhD from Cranfield University and is a member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.

Dr Ian Clark is the Product Manager who is by qualification a Meteorologist and have been heavily involved in CFD and electronics cooling since the mid 1980’s. Firstly at CHAM and CHAM NA as a consultant, support engineer and US customer services manager, a slight detour assisting in the development of a CFD team at Mott MacDonald and back into electronics cooling after joining Flomerics in 1991. He has progressed from consultancy work, training, managing customer services in the USA and the UK – and even sales for two years in Silicon Valley – to his current role as a Product Marketing Manager in the Mechanical Analysis Division. For the last 15 years, he has been heavily involved with onward development of our electronics cooling product lines; his current responsibilities are primarily focussed on looking after our future generation product developments, encompassing the best of FloTHERM and FloEFD.”

Boris Marovic His role is specializing in the automotive industries. He studied Aeronautical Engineering at the University of Stuttgart (Germany) and did his final thesis at the AME of the University of Arizona (USA). He started in 2007 directly at Mentor Graphics (at that time NIKA/Flomerics) and is working in the customer support for the FloEFD products, demoing the software and giving trainings for the FloEFD products. Basically he’s interested in almost every engineering simulation there is. Boris Marovic did work a little with the FEM stress simulation of Catia V5 and ever since he liked the idea of simulating in the design process and that's how he found my way to FloEFD

Andras Vass-Varnai obtained his masters degree in electrical engineering in 2007 at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. He started his professional career as an application engineer in MicReD, now he works for Mentor Graphics Mechanical Analysis Division as a customer relationship manager supporting T3Ster users world-wide. Beside his work he is also a correspondent Ph.D. student at the Technical University of Budapest. His main topics of interest include thermal management of electric systems, advanced applications of thermal transient testing, characterization of TIM materials and high power semiconductor devices.
